Featured today on Good Things Utah..Travel Ideas

**so sorry! I had this scheduled to post yesterday right when our segment began but I put the wrong year!! *** I will do the giveaway on this on Tuesday night (one week) when I get back at the same time as the giveaway before this!

Dreading your next Road trip? I am to! Here are some great ways to help your next road trip be a success!**Make sure to read all the way through this post so you can see our GIVEAWAY for this!*
Movie chest:
Supplies needed:
Cute scrapbook paper
adhesive
Treasure chest or any cute container that can fit in your glove box.
Paper

Cover your container with scrapbook paper to make it festive.
Fill the chest with paper strips of the movies you have brought.
When it comes time to watch a movie, you can pick from the chest to avoid a fight!
Out and About Chart:
Supplies needed:
We R Memory Keepers out and about designer series pad.
We R Memory Keepers 4x6 journaling cards.
1/2 sheet of bracket paper from We R Memory Keepers
1/6 sheet of Black cardstock
adhesive
velcro
page protector
3M temporary hooks
From the designer pad, chose the house/tree paper and cut as shown.
Use the Orange paper and cut 1/2” larger in height.
From the 4x6 tablet, pull the title.
Cut the Orange paper to be 4.5x6.5 inches as a backing.
Cut the bracket paper in half. Assemble layout as shown using the paper, letters and tags from the designer series pad.
Make signs backed with cardstock of pitstops you would like to make.
As you make progress, move the car forward so your kids can see how far you are getting, maybe even avoiding the famous question, “are we there yet!?”  You can use the temporary hooks to hang this chart from your child's window with the temporary hooks.  You can even get suction cup hooks from a home improvement store.  It can serve as a window shade AND a progress chart!
Numbered Activity Cans
We R Memory Keepers Designer series pad (for paper and numbers)
We R Memory Keepers Die Cut Tags
Black Ribbon (for decoration)
Empty Pringles cans
Cut paper to be the same size as the can (right below the silver on each side so it will lay flat).
Cut a smaller paper that you can wrap around the middle or bottom, for accent.
Tie ribbon around the can and attach the die cut tag.
Number each can.

**OF COURSE you can always decorate these cans the way YOU like to have them!

You can get as many cans as you have hours to drive. Every hour, open a new can. These cans are also handy because they can be stored in your door pocket easily and when brought out, easily fit in your cup holder!

Fill these cans with treats, activities, games, a DS game they like to play, the title of a movie they can start to watch, lots of things to occupy your cuties for an hour! Another thought is to create new playlists on your ipod or in your CD collection and have them randomly chose a CD to listen to every hour if you don’t have a movie player in your car.

All products demonstrated can be purchased on our website www.aPage4allSeasons.com

I found a few GREAT websites where you can download FREE travel games or coloring sheets.  Here are a few:
This is the link for the things you can print in these cans but there are hours of creative ideas on things you can do with your kids when in the car.  Who woulda thought there would be so much?
This site has fun games but it also has word searches and mazes that are fun to do!

This site has a ton of games and some fun coloring pages.  I even found some color by numbers!  I also loved that they had a way to sort by age so you knew you were getting age-appropriate activities as well.  They also have a 22 page book you can print off which makes a good variety!

There are so many websites you can search through but I have ton quite a bit of research for you and think these are the best sites.  They will be the most clean to look at and give you plenty of variety.
Follow our blog or check back weekly because we do giveaways pretty much EVERY week!  PLUS, we are a small company so until word gets out, your odds of winning are AWESOME!

We are already giving away a kit (see previous post) so make sure to check over there and leave a comment to be in that contest.

A little bit about... JANA EUBANK

Jana Eubank Bio

A little about me . . . I'm just a regular gal that names scrapbooking as my passion! I completely love it! I enjoy the creative outlet it gives me as well as the satisfaction of making something that pays tribute to what is most important to me in life . . . my family. I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years. It's become a part of my daily life and a part who I am. My scrapbooking style is eclectic with clean lines. I mostly make 12 X 12 pages, but I also enjoy creating cards and the occasional altered project or mini book. If I'm not scrapping, I'm perusing interior design magazines, hanging out at scrapbook message boards, or celebrating life with my family. I'm hopelessly addicted to chocolate and Diet Coke and love listening to Pandora Radio while I scrap. I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 daughters and 1 son and have been married to my best friend, Kevin, for 13 years. We live in Bountiful, Utah. I am so thankful to be a designer here at A Page 4 All Seasons. Kits are my favorite thing to use while scrapping. I love that the products are already coordinated for me. It takes all the guesswork out of what to choose for my pages. Instead, I can just sit down and immediately enjoy the satisfaction of creating something meaningful. To learn more about me or to see more of my work, stop by my blog: http://www.janaeubank.com

From Shyloh:
I feel so lucky to have Jana on my design team!  What a joy it is  to work with her!  Getting her layouts back after she has created her "masterpieces" is like Christmas morning for me! I just die of amazement each time I see what she has created.  Jana is so easy going and easy to love and we haven't even had her around that long!  I am excited to see what she will be bringing me next...

Yeah! Now almost ANYONE can get free product from me!!!! How? I am looking for people who are willing to do a page kit with their pictures OR make a layout or project from something i send. Sound to good to be true!? It really is... You would just need to comment on this post with whether you are interested in doing a page kit or having product sent to you. PS...due to shipping costs, this can only be for US customers...

Just a little bit about...ME

I thought I would start a little post every once in awhile about our designers. I know them so well and lately I have felt it has been unfair that you haven't been able to get to know them like me!

I started A Page 4 All Seasons in February 2008. I LOVED to scrapbook but felt like I spent way to much time "over analyzing" the design of my pages. On top of that, scrapbooking became an overwhelming mess by the time I opened a million packages, cut up and ruined tons of paper and not to mention the money I spent! I LOVED scrapbooking with kits because it was MESS FREE!!! My only complaint...the page kits out there seemed to "cheap" for me. I wanted a more designer look. And, more for myself than anyone else, A PAGE 4 ALL SEASONS was born!

I feel lucky that I have somehow convinced the BEST designers in the world that this is a great place to design for. I have a great little gig going on in my end.

As far as my personal life, I am a MOM of 3 FUN children. I have Kayla who is 13, Ashley is 10 and Brayden is 5. So.... I have kids all over the place as far as ages go. I feel like I am having a deep lecture about becoming a better person with one and then I have to turn right around and sing "Best day ever" at the top of my lungs with Sponge Bob and my youngest! I am TRULY grateful to be a mom. I have always worked and just recently made the big leap to work only this website. I feel lucky and I really don't say enough that I LOVE MY CUSTOMERS because they are keeping me from having to leave my kids. I did that for 12 years, and it is so hard to think of ever doing it again!

I have an awesome husband, Jared. We have been married almost 14 years. (Yes, for all you math wizards..Kayla was a "honeymoon baby"). Lucky us! I wish I could say that Jared is my darling, sweet husband who I cherish and will love forever but that would make him throw up. Although I do feel those things, my husband and I survive on humor and sarcasm almost all the time.

My hobbies (besides scrapbooking) include running, running, and running... I had a huge fear of running because I passed out in a race when I was in Jr. High. Three years ago I began to run. It took me an hour to do 3 miles the first time! I have slowly worked up to do half marathons, the ragnar relay and last fall did my first marathon in St. George, UT. I will be doing another this fall...

Well, I think I couldn't possibly bore you any more so I will end my ramblings here! Posting at 430am can sometimes equate to a very long, confusing post! Oh, that sums up the last thing about me... I NEVER SLEEP! I wish I did! But, I don't.
